Judy Mumbi is an Associate in the Debt Recovery, Restructuring, and Insolvency Department under Dispute Resolution at the firm. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with three years of post-admission experience. Judy has a growing specialization in advising and representing corporate and individual clients, including financial institutions, companies and international creditors.
She is particularly experienced in handling debt collection through both civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including arbitration, ensuring efficient and commercially sound outcomes for clients. Judy is also well-versed in enforcement of securities, including realization of charges, debentures, and guarantees, and advises on creditor rights in insolvency and liquidation proceedings.
